Spring festival "Baisakhi" and Birth Anniversary of "Dr. B. R. Ambedkar" celebrated in Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School,CHD.RD., Ldh enthusiastically. Premises of school reverberated with celebration. Our shining stars actively participated in folk songs, folk dance bhangra. Quiz was organised on Baba Ambedkar's life ,in which students of class IX and X participated with great zeal. Students of XI & XII recited Durga Stuti with their families. Mr. Sunil(Sanskrit teacher) organised hawan ceremony on this auspicious day. Ms. Bindu Chhabra(PRT) apprised the students with the importance of Navsamat. Principal, Upasna Modgil applauded the efforts of students and added that the motive behind the celebration was to apprise the children of their rich culture and heritage. She spoke on the impact and significance of Baba's ideology during the freedom struggle. She also motivated students to follow his footsteps and inculcate his values in their lives.
